While at Ford, Wayne was commissioned to do a show car for the 1987 Motor Show. He chose to do a fluro red XF Falcon Ute and called it the Millennium Falcon since his son was obsessed with Star Wars at the time. He and Bob McWilliam used the same front spoiler on the XF Auscar that raced at Bob Jane’s Thunderdome. The AUSCARs also ran the Phase 5 rear wing and roof spoiler, originally designed for the XD/XE Group Cs but rejected by CAMS.

The following year, 1988, Wayne mocked up a V8 XF for a Street Machine competition that would be called the HO 2 Go. We lost the kit in the 2009 Black Saturday fires, but have since replaced the front bar.
